CAIPI
ILLUSTRATION - BRANDING - PRODUCT DESIGN
Caipi is a personal project that I started during the quarantine, so I could work on my illustrating itch. I have always loved paper stores and items that are filled with characters and colors. So during the pandemic I put my computer and printer to work and created some products to sell online. Check out the shop!
I always wanted to create enamel pins and I did some research online to figure out how to create the files and how it would be the right way to place my order. After having that figured out I started designing some pins out of characters I had previously created.
After receiving the enamel pins I went ahead on designing the packaging for them. I chose to make the pack out of paper, so I designed the exterior of the box and chose colored thick paper to print at home. And after that was done all that was left was simply cut it on the cricut and assemble it.
I decided to use paper for most of my packaging system. The only impermeable layer within the packaging process is the final layer that is made out of 100% compostable material. Everything else is either paper or cardboard.
I also designed some stickers that were also printed at home, as well as the packaging. I experimented making a version of colored stickers and another version that allows one to color it as they desire.
